Magnetoacoustic Tomography and COMSOL Multiphysics
Publié en 2010
Magnetoacoustic tomography with magnetic induction (MAT-MI) is a recently introduced method for imaging electrical impedance properties, which integrates classic electrical impedance tomography and ultrasonic technique. It could provide an explicitly reconstructed electrical impedance distribution with high spatial resolution and contrast, eliminating the shielding effects of insulating tissues. In this presentation, we provide formulae for both the forward and inverse problems. The numerical simulation was conducted through finite element method, using COMSOL Multiphysics, and some reconstructed images are presented.
