COMSOL® Aided Coil Design for Neutron Spin Transport

The search for physics beyond the Standard Model using low-energy neutrons requires, among other things, very precise transport and manipulation of the neutron spin. In this talk some examples of coil design for stringent magnetic field uniformity requirements and complicated geometries using COMSOL Multiphysics® are presented.
