2D AutoCAD File Import in Comsol 4.4

I have this micro-channel geometry that I am importing into Comsol from a 2D AutoCAD drawing saved in .dxf format in AutoCAD 2013. I have space in-between consecutive channels and when I import it as a solid, it is recognizing that space as a solid and making the space as a part if the solid domain. Can you please suggest ways to recognize the intended space between channels as space rather than solid. I have attached a screen shot of the converted model and my AutoCAD model and visually explained the problem better.

Thank you

Hi,

I am not sure about your model and its detail.

But, I imported a solid cube from the AutoCAD to COMSOL using IGES extension in AutoCAD. You only need to export your model to IGES format in AutoCAD then Import it to COMSOL in the Geometry node. I did not get any problem and my model worked well.
