About PCF effective index : Urgent

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I have designed a structure of PCF and calculated its effective refractive index values for different wavelengths. But when i am changing the core geometry like introducing elliptical holes in the core or even deleting the first ring of air holes, i am getting the same effective index values for different wavelengths as i got in my earlier structure (i.e. without any change in the core geometry). Please let me know the problem.
