Add gaps along a parametric curve

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi folks, we have an parametric curve with the follow settings:

Parameter: Name: Minimum: Maximum:

Expressions: xw: yw:

The curve is sweeped with an rectangle 1x4mm width/height to build a flat spiral and is divided into two work planes parametric curve/rectangle.

Now we would like to add a 1mm gap every 15mm along the entire parametric curve, and if possible also keep the shape/size.

We hope someone here can help us..

Maybe multiply with some if-statement? xwif("(s>q)(s<q)",0,1), with q somehow representing the gabs?

How and where do I set the additional q parameter?

And where do I insert the if-statement with the formula?

We are completely new to COMSOL so step by step would be nice.
