Line/Marker style cycling

Hi All,

Good to see that version 5.4 allows for colour cycling definition using customised text files. I would like to do the same with the Line styles, (dotted, dashed, dot-dash etc...), but I cannot find instructions or any obvious text file in the installation directory that I can customise for this purpose.

Am I missing something? The combo box selection for line style allows a "cycle (reset)" option, but I cannot find how to implement it!

Thanks for any pointers...

It's only the color cycle that can be customised by the user, not line styles. I have noted this as a suggestion to be considered for future releases.

The "Cycle (reset)" option resets the cycle state for each plot in a plot group. It can be used to synchronize e.g. colors and line styles between plots. E.g., suppose that you have a 1D plot group containing two line graphs, each each plotting a set of lines corresponding to a set of times or parameter values.

Hi Gunnar,

OK, I see what the functionality is now... thanks for clarifying!
