magnetostrictive beside a busbar (DC current)

Hello,

I am new to comsol, I got no experience nor any training in desinging in comsol.

I would like to simulate a busbar carrying DC current. The DC current will generate a static magnetic force where it affect the magnetostrictive material. The busbar can be replaced by a conductor.

From this example (www.comsol.com/model/busbar-ac-analysis-28391) , I don't understand how it select AC ? and how can I change to DC ?
I checked the nonlinear magnetostrictive transducer example too, it only specific the external current density but did not mention whether is DC or AC.

I hope someone can enlighten me and give me some advice on this.

Thank you very much

Eric
