Problem with general extrusion

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone,

I have a problem on general extrusion from 1d line to 3d radius sphere in 3d(demonstration in attachment file). I use the x-expression in destination map as: (comp2.x)^2+(comp2.y)^2+(comp2.z)^2-(comp1.x)^2. THe error message: Internal error in error handling. Message: coordevalfail.
Could anyone give some advices on this?
Many Thanks!!

Best,
Leo

I would be appreciated if anyone could answer another problem on polar coordinate.

I just wonder could I solve the laminar flow module or some other modules in polar coordinate in 2d. I tried in Comsol using the cylindrical coordinate, however, in 2d, it only cares about r and z. What if I want spherical coordinate in 2d and consider r and theta?
Thank you for your patience!!

Leo
