Define a maximum/minimum Concentration

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I try to define a maximum and minimum concentration, but it doesn´t work like i want.

I hve a simple model. Attached is a picture of it. Two domains which are separated threw a thin diffusion layer. At the ground is a outward flux.

In the upper domain I want a constant concentration of "c_air" (I assume a big room thus the concentration doesn´t decrease). And in the other domain I want a initial concentration of "c_liquid" which doesn´t increase the initial value. I tried the max/min functions but without a success. I typed for example "min(c,c_liquid)" in the "initial values"-field. But then Comsol uses as initial value something round about zero, but it seems that the maximum value is c_liquid.

Does somebody have suggestions what I´m doing wrong? Or how to define a maximum or minimum concentration at another point?

Thanks and best regards,
Adnan
