Linking the modeled concentration field to a user defined PDE in a time dependent study

I'm trying to model chemotaxis in a device. In order to do this I need to use chemical concentration at any time as a parameter in the PDE that describes the field of bacterial concentration.
I can easily model the evolution of the chemical concentration field but the issue that I'm having is including the concentration (c) in my PDE that I'm defining for chemotaxis.
I get an error message saying 'unknown operator or function' when I try to include it. My question is how do you include the solution from the transport model as a coefficient in the PDE for the second study?
Thanks,
Ben
