optimization of a time-dependent problem

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am working using coefficient form PDE module to compute the exit concentration of an adsorber, which is time -dependent. I have used a set of parameters as difusivity and dispersion to solve the PDE. I want to optimize the parameters by comparison with the experimental results, such I get the best fit. Should I use time-dependent optimization solver? or may I use just optimization solver along with time-dependent solver by apart.

I will be really thankful to you.

Best regards,

Jorge
