how to get a total mass of a component in a reactor vessel.

Hi all,

Very new to the field as my time as a researcher has been in biology. I am modeling a bioreactor I designed as a 2D axial symmetry model. The cell mass is calculated as a density (kg/m^3) but i need to get the total biomass (kg) within the reactor vessel. How can i do this?

Cheers

Michael

Under Results node there is a Derived values tab. Open that and select volume integration. Integrate your biomass concentration over the vessel, as simple as that.
