Electrical load and electrical stress induced damage

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear all,

I am going to model electrical current flow induced damage in porous material using COMSOL Multiphysics. From the joule heating, I got temperature. The next step I want to couple with solid mechanics in order to get thermal stress due to electrical current flow. I still have problem how to apply electrical load in this model because I want to see damage/fatigue in the porous material. I am using DC electric current. I would be very grateful if anyone can give me the idea.
Thank you.

Kind regards,
Agus Susanto
