how to fix auto save option while a simulation is running??

Dear All

Please some one help me to fix the following:

1) I am using 4.2 version of comsol. Once the simulation stops, I have to start it from the beginning.
Is there any auto save options?

2) While I am running a transient cases with very fine time step, my c drive goes out of space. I believe this happens because, it saved for all time steps.
Is there any technique to save few time steps instead of all?

Thanks in advance

Anup

Hi Anup,
1- check the recovery files. You may find your file there.
2- yes. you can let the solver to chose the time steps. you can play with tolerance values for accuracy. Then. there is also an option to save steps from solver or specified steps.
