breakdown of a plasma

Hi All,

I want to model something and was wondering if you could offer some advice. I have an argon gas moving through an aluminium chamber and I would like to apply a voltage to a probe in the middle of the chamber. The chamber is grounded, and so the idea is that if the voltage is high enough, a spark is formed that then creates an argon plasma. Does anyone know where to begin with this?

Thanks in advance
