Compliant electrodes for electroactive polymers

I am trying to model the behaviour of dielectric electroactive polymers. To model the system completely, I require compliant electrodes, usually carbon grease to be included. I cant think of a method by which this can be achieved.
Can someone with experience in this area give some advice?
