Flow value over a defined surface area

I would like to ask you about a help with postprocessing. I have a simple 3D model (for example cube) where inlet, outlet and fluid material is defined, mesh is generated and laminar flow calculated. I need to know the flow trough a certain surface area (not a cut).
The surface is not defined in the geometry, but I can modify geometry and add it there. What kind of interface shell I assign to it? And then where to find calculation of the flow trough this surface (some integration)?
In case I don't need to modify the geometry, where and how to define a flow trough specific surface are?
Thank you, SP
