Significance of Eigenfrequency /Natural Frequency?

Hii,
I'M working on RF MEMS Switch. I'M done with Modal Analysis and have found eigenfequencies. Can anyone please let me know if there's any relation between the AC Signal frequency which we apply to the beam and the beams eigenfrequency?
Moreover for achieving good Dynamic performance ,the eigenfrequency obtained should be high or low?
