Hi,
Has anyone seen the microwave cancer heating documentation?

I am curious about one thing: In the section where they say (page 4):

'The wave equation then becomes scalar in H_{ϕ}:'

they presented an equation with the curl of the scalar field, H_{ϕ}. Now, if H_{ϕ} is scalar, wouldn't that make the resulting curl operator to be zero and thus, H_{ϕ} = 0?
