connecting solid and beam elements.

Hi,
how can I use the beam element to act as a shear connector between two solid elements.

Hi

it's quite some knitting of the Dependent variables, as beam come in as lines onto the model and you need to apply the beam end node values to the full connecting boundary, also to link the angles from the beams, you can use rthe rigid connectors (this "makes the link 100% rigid though) or you can use weak constraints
