Uneven Results in Acoustic-Piezoelectric Coupled Analysis

Hello, I am a student studying numerical analysis. I have a question that came up while using COMSOL.

I am currently performing an acoustic-piezoelectric coupled frequency analysis. In the image, the lower area is the piezoelectric region, and the upper area is the acoustic medium. For the boundary conditions of the piezoelectric element, I applied a surrounding roller boundary condition, with Electric Potential boundary conditions of 0V and 0.1V at the top and bottom, respectively. In the analysis results, the voltage was applied correctly, but the z-displacement and acoustic pressure at the coupled boundary showed uneven results. This issue did not occur when I used the same boundary conditions in COMSOL version 3.5. What could be the reason for this?

Are you using the same mesh in the newest version vs 3.5?

Hi Sang Uk Park

I think this is best resolved if you send the model to support. This could be one of several issues.

Best regards Mads
