Dividing Electrolyzer Cell into Segments for Efficient Computation in COMSOL

I'm currently engaged in simulating an electrolyzer cell, and due to its considerable height exceeding 60 cm, the computational expense is significant. To manage this, I'm intending to discretize the cell into 10 uniform segments, each spanning 6 cm. The objective is to conduct separate simulations for each segment while utilizing the output data of one segment as input for the subsequent one. As this simulation is transient, I require the results of every segment at each time step to seamlessly feed into the subsequent segments. I'm exploring the best approach within COMSOL for this purpose. Would it be more effective to pursue a parallel computing method, or should I run individual simulations for each subcell and transfer data manually between segments? I'd appreciate insights or guidance on how best to handle this scenario within COMSOL.
