Setting up problem with two variables in PDE module

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I have a 1D axisymmetric model with two domains. 1D Poisson Boltzmann equation (can work with the linearized equation too) is applied in the first domain whereas the second domain is a dieletric (satisfies Laplace equation). The interface between the two domains has a surface charge density. I want to set this problem up with PDE module but there are supposed to be two variables, for inner and outer domain. The boundary condition at the interface vary their gradients. I cannot find a way to specify it in COMSOL.

So, if the two variables are and , the boundary condition will look like , where and are constants

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Pragati
