How the solution in Comsol is saved?

I would like to export the solution I get in Comsol into Matlab.
My problem (formulated using the weak form PDE) has tre dependent variables (u,v,w). I solve the problem in Comsol and I am able to export them using u = mphgetu(model). When I solve the problem in comsol, it says: Number of DOFs = 9780 and actually, when I export the solution, the vector I get has length = 9780.
I wonder: since I have three dependent variables (u,v,w) do I have to suppose that in the vector I extract the three variables are organized as follows:
u is contained between the element 1 and 3260 of the vector I extract in matlab
v is contained in the second group of 3260 elements of the vector
w is contained in the last group of 3260
Is that right? Has any of you done the same? Otherwise, how the solution is stored?
Many thanks,
