Saturation of the absorption coefficient

Hello everybody,
I want to simulate the temperature distribution in a crystal under laser radiation. How can I account for the saturation effect of the absorption coefficient in the medium using the following formula: ?
where - saturated absorption coefficient [1/m] ; - unsaturated absorption coefficient [1/m]; - saturation intensity [W/m^2] ; - laser intensity [W/m^2]; - radial coordinate of the crystal; z - longtitudal coordinate.
And it should be taken into account that the intensity itself also changes along the entire crystal. This process can be described through Beer–Lambert law in differential form:
