Very high temperature values for coil!

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I would like to describe my model. There are two coils (transmitter and receiver coil). The receiver coil is in a potting compound and induces a voltage. The problem is that the temperature of the receiver coil gets very high. I think about setting a fix temperature value around the coil. But the thing is I want to let comsol show how is the temperature distribution around the coil. So in reality there can not be a fixed temperature around the coil. I think I should use the "Heat Flux" but I dont know how to define it and at which boundries of the coil I should use it.

I also used the "Surface to Ambient Radiation". The value will get smaller, but it is still to high.

Thank you!
