automatic solver recommendation not seen

It's said that comsol will automatically recommend solvers and time stepping methods tailor made to different physics modules. For example, when a wave equation is solved, general alpha will be ticked automatically; when a dissipative system is solved, BDF will be ticked automatically. However I don't see these effects and all I see is BDF ticked all the time. Why?
