Phase change modelling

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello

I am modelling the melting and solidification of phase change material inside a rectangular cavity. The left and right wall is subjected to isothermal BC and top and bottom walls are insulated. However, I am getting very high melting fraction at a given time as compared to literature. I've tried with different mushy zone constant and trasnition interval but not getting the results.

Could anyone please help me to resolve this discrepancy?

Thanks Alok Ray
