"circuit" in "terminal"

Dear scholars, I am doing the simulation of cantilever beam, I want to apply a force load to deform the beam and generate electric potential, in which the upper and lower surface of the beam I want to ground one side and connect the other side to the terminal, but I do not understand the definition of "circuit" in "terminal", can you tell me if you know something about this ?Thank you very much!
