PML for plate

Hello, I am using structural mechanic (plate physics) to model a 2D plate. I tried to find a way to make it like an infinite domain; however, I could not do that. I remember that I used ''PML'' or ''radiation boundary conditions'' previously for different physics but I could not find an equivalent form specifically for plate physics. Is there any way that I can define a boundary in plate physics to absorbs all the outgoing waves and avoid reflection from the outer edge of my domain? Best, Reza

Plates are more difficult than solids when it comes to truncation by PMLs. The reason is the velocity dispersion properties of bending waves. There is currently no built-in PML (or similar) condition for plates.

Here is a fairly recent paper, discussing a possible formulation of such a boundary condition, and the authors actually use an implementation in COMSOL Multiphysics to show the applicability of the theory:
