Particles size issue in particle tracing module.

Hi everyone. I have to trace the trajectory of a silica particle (6 micromiters of diameter) into a microchannel (L= 1.8 mm, h= 15 um, s= 55 um). Thus, the particle should enter the channel safely. This was not the case, since its size appeared much bigger than the inlet and, in addition, it seemed to be totally independent on its parameter. Searching in few open discussions, I found the suggestion to change the radius scale factor and, playing with it, I was able to obtain a smaller size and now it seems to work. However, I have a doubt. Is there any chance that playing with this paramenter I'm changing the true dimension of the particle, or is it just a "graphic" issue? Thank you in advance for the help, I would truly benefit from your experience since I am a "beginner" of Comsol.

Maybe that's because your need smaller mesh?
