Xenon collision cross sections

Hi! I am trying to model a xenon plasma device and therefore I wanted to import the xenon collision cross sections. I found useful data for each excitation level. However, I wanted to combine certain excitation levels to a lumped state (f.e. the 6s states, the 6s' states and the 6p states). I calculated the weighting factors but I am not sure how to treat the different cross section data and combine them to one. I would appreciate if someone could explain how to proceed exactly. Thanks very much.
