Adjusting # of Grid Lines in Plot

I can go to a view and adjust the spacing just fine. But it only gives me 5 lines per axis. If my auto spacing is 2in, it will have 5 lines from 0 - 10in. If my spacing is 1in for the same model, I will only get 5 lines at 1,2,3,4,5in and the rest is blank. The numbers on the axis still appear at 1in intervals, but no more grid lines. What do I do to have more grid lines?
