Hi all,
I am interested to know if anyone would know any leads to build a simulation for a 3D Gaussian Beam in the Non Paraxial case, so the 3D plane expansion wave solution. I mean : should I use Ports, Scattered Field, etc to give an input ?
(This article https://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1502/1502.05317.pdf explains how to proceed for the formula)
I've seen this post https://www.comsol.com/blogs/the-nonparaxial-gaussian-beam-formula-for-simulating-wave-optics/ explaining how to do it in 2D. But in 3D there is not anymore the option Gaussian field when in settings of Electromagnetic Waves, Frequency Domain we choose "Scattered Field", so I am not sure about how to proceed.
Thank you very much,
