Periodic load using a defined function?

I would like to solve a time dependent problem. For that I would like to define a periodic load on one of the boundaries in my geometry. My question is if it is possible to first define a function, e.g. "Model -> Definitions -> Functions ->Waveform -> Triangle" and then use this function as a time dependent load? I have tried to do that by first defining a waveform function called "wv1". But when I put "wv1" in the "Boundary Load", the line turns red and the solver gives me an error saying that it failed to evaluate variable wv1.
