Permanent Magnet - AC/DC Module

Hello, I am quite new to COMSOL, and I've been wanting to create a semicone geometry, with a cylindrical magnet at the bottom surronded by an Air domain, so I can see the magnetic flux density on the iron semicone. I've seen the permanent magnet tutorial available here in the COMSOL website, and it seems the problem arises on the creation of the geometry. On the tutorial the geometry was imported therefore I had no issue. So how was the horse-shoe shaped geometry created?? Was it by composing? Unifying?

I ask this because the magnetic flux density that I see does not behave like it should, and the problem is on the geometry!

I appreciate any help that will be given

Hello Lucca.

Lots of tutorials have step-by-step instructions on how to create different types of geometries. For your problem, I suggest these:

https://www.comsol.com/model/baffled-membrane-9771

https://www.comsol.com/model/sun-s-radiation-effect-on-two-coolers-placed-under-a-parasol-12825

Follow the PDF instructions on how to create the geometry to learn how to use the geometry creating tools.
