for my master thesis I am trying to create a CFD model that simulates the emptying of a bottle, containing a power-law, shear thinning fluid.
The physics I have used is laminar two phase flow, level set.
This bottle has got a silicon valve on its neck: by squeezing the bottle, the valve opens and the fluid flows across it.
The problem is to how to simulate the behaviour of this type of valve in Comsol: are there, for example, some proper boundary conditions, a physics model, to reproduce this?
Thank you in advance,
best regards
