Phase Change in Small 2-D Pores

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, Dear friends,

I am a newbie in COMSOL, built a 2-D model consist of a few small pores (d=1 mm) in a piece of mortar material. The pores are filled with water, which has a phase change to ice.

I defined Heat & Mass Fransfer and set a B.C. for Heat Transfer, linearly varying from +15 to -15 in 14400 sec, expecting that water-ice transition put some pressure on pore walls.

Here is the error and .mph file attached.

Thanks a lot for any kind of help !
