How to approach Metal Hydride-Hydrogen storage simulations

Hi!
I am working on Metal Hydride-Hydrogen storage simulations using COMSOL 5.2. I tried to simulate a rectangular porous bed (LaNi5 matrix) involving hydrogen absorption-desorption cycle, which includes heat and mass transfer.
The hydrogen gas reacts with the metal to form metal hydrides releasing enormous heat. The idea is to find a cooling mechanism to counteract this heat generation. I tried to simulate the same using "chemical species transport" module and "transport of diluted species (rfds) but did not succeed. I am not sure how to simulate the exothermic chemical reaction between the metal and hydrogen, and get the temperature and the concentration profile.
I am curious to know the procedure to generate the chemical reactions involving metal hydride beds. Or is there any tutorial for the same? Thank You.
