Need help with setting the boundary conditions in acoustic module

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I'm trying to model acoustic resonator (cavity) with all wals rigid except for one which is formed by loudspeaker membrane. I can compute the acceleration of membrane using loudspeaker equation so I can use acceleration boundary condition. I assume the wave inside the resonator "sees" the boundary with acceleration boundary condition as a rigid wall? However membrane as a part of the resonator has its acoustic impedance (which I also can compute from the loudspeaker equivalent circuit).. I can just use acoustic impedance boundary condition and compute eigenmodes, but I would also like to do time-harmonic analysis (and get pressure vs voltage and pressure vs frequency characteristics) Is there a way to somehow include both boundary conditions?

thanks!
martin
