settiing a variable dependant boundary condition in a stationary study

I am running a 2D electrical current stationary study in which I want to set the conductivity of some of the boundaries in the model as a function of the dependent variable V. The solution does not converge.
Is there a way to resolve this ? I have ran the same model with the same boundary conditions under a time dependent study and the solution converged.
