Question regarding connecting the physics of two domains

Hello all - My system is a simple diffusion reaction problem. There are two domains with different equations governing these domains. However i was wondering how i can connect these two domains at an internal boundary. For eg. if the concentration of the species is the same at the interface how can I feed this into the model. Thanks.

I might have found a solution. In comsol 4.1, declaring the two domains as a union without expressing an internal boundary condition is enough. The solver assumes that there is continuity in the dependent variable at the interface. That is what i think. Any inputs is appreciated.
