Inductive heating of a cylinder

I´m currently working at a model using COMSOL 5.2.a, which should simulate the inductive heating of a titan cylinder in a simple helix coil. Because I want to know how long it takes to reach a spezific temperature, I need to solve the problem with a time-transient solver. As long as I am simulating only for 0,0.1,1 seconds it worked fine, but when I am increasing the time, COMCOL gets stuck after hours of not doing anything. Is there a special rule, for the time steps at a special frequency?
Best regards,
Margit
