Trying to model contact in two phase moving mesh

Hi,

I am trying to model contact in a two phase moving mesh problem. The model I am having most problems with now consists out of four geometries of ABS plastic at elevated temperature, which I am trying to merge together to simulate the formation of a FDM 3D printing mesostructure. The initial shape of the mesoostructure consists out of three of these geometries which have already consolidated together in an earlier simulation and have imported their geometry profile and temperature. The fourth geometry has an assumed shape of a rounded quadrangle, the same as the earlier deposited. This makes very sharp creases between the geometries, causing the external fluid interfaces to crash into each other. I would like to solve this by defining contact one way or the other, since finer meshes do not work (on the contrary, the surface tension effects seem to work very poorly due to a very sharp crease angle). How can I define this contact function?
