Optimum location of piezoelectric parch on a plate for minimum voltage

I am currently working on my final year project and using COMSOL. I am required to simulate a model of a piezoelectric patch on a plate. I have 2 objectives for this project
1. To determine the optimum location of the patch that will require minimum voltage to achieve a given deflection.
2. Given the plate is a composite laminate. I am required to change the layout of the plies of the laminate and hence determine the optimum layout that will require minimum voltage to achieve a given deflection.
So, i was thinking of using parametric sweep. I am so new in COMSOL. I literally dont know how to use parametric sweep at all. I tried watching some YouTube videos but to no avail.
I heard parametric sweep can change the location of patch automatically. Please note that i have to maintain a certain value of displacement.
Another thing is how can i model composite laminate in COMSOL and change the lay -up as well.
Please help me out guys
I am flexible if you have other suggestions apart from parametric sweep to achieve my objectives
Thank you
Cheers Munir.
