Semiconductor analog and analyzation

I wander how to set the boundary condition in the interface between the semiconductor and mental. And whether the amount of moving electron amount can be tested in the analyzation since if the n-type semiconductor can release electrons and they will move to the mental side.

The model is based on double rod, on side is semiconductor and the other side is metal.
