comsol-matlab usage

Dear all,

I have a couple of questions about comsol-matlab usage.
I'm using now Comsol 3.5a software. What I want is to create simple
geometry (for example
3d cube with hole in it) and to mesh it. Than I export it to matlab
and solve in another
program.

My first question:
Is it possible to define different color to each node related to the
different material
constants (for example if my cube is made of wood, and in the hole is
air => I want that
each color will correspond to the different density of the material).

The second question:
I also want to export the color defining constants corresponding to
each node together
with nodes coordinates. Or some other parameter which will help me to
recognize which
node in the mesh corresponds to which material.
May be it is easier in comsol 4, if any?

Thank you very much for you help
