thanks to Ivar I recently managed to get COMSOL working in Client-Server mode and it does well, but while doing thermal calculations including laminar flow I'd like to let my own computer do some computations of the parametric sweep, as well.
Could someone tell my of his own experience using COMSOL in Cluster mode?
I know there's the "Cluster Computing" Option under "Study" (which I didn't really understand to work with just from the manual), but I just found in the COMSOL Reference Manual there's an option to directly start either "comsolcluster.exe" or e.g. "comsolclustermphserver.exe".
Is it that easy to do it the same way as in Server-Client mode? I couldn't manage to start neither cluster nor clustermphserver so I guess there's a little bit more setup needed.
