Error: 5028 " Port is not coaxial"

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I got this message when assigning a port boundary condition in coaxial cable. Below a certain magnitude of radius of the inner conductor( around 0.009") Comsol did not recognize the port as coaxial.

I increased the size of the inner conductor and accordingly changed the dielectric OD to keep the internal impedance to 50 ohms. Then above 0.012 it recognized the port as coaxial.

Is there a way to run the simulation with the real dimensions with out getting the error.
