could not resolve subdomain relations

hi,
I am trying to model a magnetic core, on which a bi filler winding is wound. length and diameter of magnetic core are 9 meter and 42 mm. Diameter of copper wire, which is used for winding is 0.3 mm. Model can not be scaled down as i am trying to study the effect of length magnetic core on induced secondary voltage.
While giving sub domain settings error 2023 (could not resolve sub domain relations) is coming.
Please suggest some solution.
Thanks

Regards
Vijay Sharma

Hello Vijay,

I get such errors if my subdomains are overlapping with each other.

Checking the surfaces of the adjacent subdomains may help you to find if they are going into each other or not. Sometimes using the Create Composite Object tool can help. You should add all the geometries by keeping the internal boundaries and by giving a repair tolerance which represents your model. As the second step you can use the Split Object tool and check if you are receiving the same error message again.
